Surface Retarders

Prime Exposure Surface Retarder is a water based chemical retarder used to expose the aggregate in horizontal/vertical concrete surfaces, it delays the set of the surface concrete slurry to a controlled depth. It is applied using a pressure spray unit after the concrete has been finished. Prime Exposure does not stop the set of the main concrete. The Retarded concrete slurry is easily removed by a high pressure washer from 12-24 hours (subject to weather conditions) after Prime Retarder has been applied.

Prime Exposure Formgel Retarder is a water soluble thick retardant gel that is applied to vertical and horizontal surfaces to expose the aggregate in concrete. Applied prior to pouring concrete, Prime FormGel allows you to leave formwork in place to expose the concrete surface 12 to 48 hours after pouring the concrete

Curing Agents

Prime Exposure Evaploc Curing Aid (Liquid Polythene) is a water soluble liquid when sprayed on curing concrete creates a plastic film that retards water evaporation in setting concrete. This enables you to use Prime Exposure Evaploc as a liquid polythene to reduce the dehydration of Prime Exposure Retarder in windy/warm conditions.

Sika CureCrete is a water based membrane forming liquid for curing, dustproofing and hardening concrete. Sika CureCrete is suitable for use over new and old concrete and performs well both inside and outside without the adverse effects of solvent based systems.

Cementaid Calcure B Curing Agent is an easy to use, water-based curing compound, which seals the surface of concrete with a clear, colourless membrane to retain curing moisture, without affecting subsequent bond of cementitious toppings or render.

Sika Film is a moisture evaporation retardant and is used to reduce the evaporation rate of water in concrete. It protects freshly placed concrete from the effects of excessive moisture loss in all drying conditions
